I currently work as a construction entrepreneur in my own company, Remonttimestari Mikko.J. I do a wide range of construction work. I have been an entrepreneur for a little over five years.

From 1997 to 2020, I worked at Stora Enso’s Oulu mill as a process operator in both the paper mill and the pulp mill. During my shifts, I was also the mechanical specialist. My tasks included repairing broken production equipment and machines. I also took part in maintenance shutdowns, doing repair work and preventive maintenance. At the pulp mill, my work also included operating a wheel loader, bulldozer, and excavator.

From 1995 to 1996, I worked at Jot Automation as a mechanical fitter in the electronics industry.

From 1994 to 1995, I worked at Conlog Oy as a mechanical fitter, manufacturing fire trucks and special containers for the defence forces.
