I worked as a marine electrician at Turku shipyard for one and a half years, working on two Voyager-class cruise ships.

At Sandvik Mining and Construction in Turku, I worked for three years with electrical installations and mechanical assembly on loaders and dump trucks manufactured at the Turku factory.

At VAK Oy, I worked with refrigeration unit installations for heavy vehicles. My work included pipe brazing, electrical installations, temperature monitoring system installations, pressure testing and vacuuming of piping, refrigerant charging, and installation documentation. In addition, I worked in electrical installation, sub-assembly, and auxiliary frame equipment for a total of 15 years.

At Dinolift Oy, I worked for four months as a mechanical design engineer and thesis worker. My main focus was my thesis, which looked into the possibility of using plastic hydraulic tanks in high-volume production models. I was on study leave from VAK at the time.
